Mangaluru: COVID hospital doctors infected - Services of Ayurveda hospitals sought

Mangaluru, Jul 4: As doctors at the district COVID hospital are getting infected, the COVID care centre has been facing shortage of medical professionals.

In view of shortage of medical staff, private Ayurveda hospitals have been contacted with a request to depute five doctors each to COVID care centre.

Dakshina Kannada AYUSH department has instructed to provide the details of doctors who are being deployed for corona duty.

The district administration, it is learnt, has passed on the instructions as above to 13 Ayurveda hospitals in the district.
