Mangaluru, Jul 4: Dakshina Kannada on Saturday July 4, recorded two more deaths due to coronavirus.
The two victims are a 65-year-old female and a man aged 67.
A 65-year-old female hailing from Mangaluru was suffering from high blood pressure and pneumonia and was shifted to Wenlock hospital from a private hospital on July 3. She passed away in the noon on June 3. Swab test sample was taken which turned positive on Saturday.
A 67-year-old male hailing from Mangaluru was suffering from high blood pressure and pneumonia was shifted to Wenlock from private hospital on July 2. He passed away on same day. His swab test result came as positive on Saturday.
Earlier in the morning, the swab test report an elderly woman, resident of Keremoole in Sullia, who was admitted to the hospital at Mangaluru due to illness and died of heart attack, had turned out positive.
With the two deaths, the death toll in the district has now reached 22.
