Kundapur, Jul 3: People’s praises about smooth completion of SSLC examination despite widespread coronavirus pandemic can be heard in public circles. Parents and teachers had prepared students to write the examination with confidence. The examinations had begun on June 25 and the last Hindi examination was held on July 3.
Thermal scanning and sanitization were held in all the examination centers. Social distance was maintained. Udupi DC, G Jagadeesha expressed satisfaction about the discipline in Kundapur Government PU College examination center.
Giridhar Prabhu, a parent said that there was no fear among parents as sufficient precautions were taken and the education minister and district administration had provided sufficient courage. He opined that it will be better to reopen schools and colleges only after the next two months.
All the students attended the examination though a female student was tested positive for the virus. Teachers said that the services of the district administration, police department, health department, Asha workers and Scouts and Guides volunteers made the examinations possible.
