Byndoor, Jul 3: Paduvary gram panchayat and panchayat complex are sealed down after a panchayat staff here was tested positive.

The temporary worker in the panchayat office suffered from fever since the last four days. Reports of lab tests conducted on him have confirmed the virus. Therefore, the panchayat office was sealed down immediately.

The panchayat office complex also has a post office, village accountant’s office and library in it. All of them are closed and sanitized. Panchayat staff members are subjected to home quarantine.

The source from where he got infected is a mystery. It is being investigated.
