Kundapur, Jun 30: Rotary Club, Kundapur donated two mortuary storage systems to Kundapur Government Hospital with grants from Rotary International district on June 30.
Former Rotary district governor, Abhinandan Shetty said that necessities of the society are being fulfilled by grants from Rotary International district. “The dead bodies of children who had died in the accident involving a school vehicle in Trasi in the past had to be transported to Manipal due to lack of facilities in Kundapur. Therefore, I brought the need for mortuaries to the notice of the Rotary international district. Two systems are obtained in the grants of Rs five lac received during 2018-19.”
District foundation committee chairman, Sadananda Chatra, zonal assistant governor, Raviraj Shetty and hospital chief medical officer, Dr Robert Rebello were the guests of honour.
Rotary club Kundapur south 2018-19 president, Johnson Almeida, secretary, Ram Prasad Shet, 2019-20 president, Devaraj, secretary, Shobha Bhat and others were present.
