Udupi, Jun 29: “The increase in oil prices by the government at the center is disastrous for ordinary people. The images of Chinese soldiers in Indian land are visible in satellite but the prime minister is insulting the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers saying that such incidents have not occurred. Congress party which questioned it, is labeled as traitor. We will continue our campaign,” he said.

Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, former MLAs Gopala Poojary, U R Sabhapathi, KPCC chief secretary M A Gafoor, secretary Veronica Corneleo presented the failures of the government in front of the people. A memorandum was submitted to the deputy commissioner later opposing increase of oil prices.
