Brahmavar: Two cows electrocuted, owner escapes

Brahmavar, Jun 29: In an incident which happened at Parampalli - Padukere in the taluk on Sunday, June 28, two cows which were grazing got electrocuted. It was found that a live electric cable had been severed and fallen to the ground on which the cows stepped.

Owner of the cows, Akku Poojarthi, had a providential escape.

Akku Poojarhti was leading her cattle to the field for grazing when the incident happened. Akku was alert enough to avoid the cable upon seeing the fate of her cows.

Kota police sub-inspector Santosh BC, MESCOM assistant engineer Mahesh and executive engineer Mahesh along with a supervisor, Sukumar, visited the spot and promised to compensate for the loss.
