Mangaluru: 'Community spread of corona has begun, get examined', warns MLA U T Khader

Mangaluru, Jun 26: “As the virus has spread in Ullal, fishermen, rickshaw drivers and roadside vendors should get themselves compulsorily examined. Random tests will be conducted in infected areas. A meeting with all the spiritual leaders will be held,” said MLA U T Khader. He was speaking at an emergency meeting held in the Ullal council auditorium.

“A meeting of religious leaders was held on Monday. All should cooperate by wearing masks and maintaining social distance when they conduct their daily work,” he said.

“Members of local groups and associations and elected representatives will be creating awareness by visiting houses. Throats swabs will be conducted,” he said.

Officials of the municipal council, medical officials and religious leaders were present.
