Bengaluru, Jun 25: There is a concern among the general public of the state whether the state government will announce lockdown once again in the wake of the increasing number of cases of coronavirus infection in the state.
It is learnt that CM BS Yediyurappa has sent a message to many ministers in his government that lockdown will not be implemented until the completion of SSLC examinations. The only discussion will be held in this regard during the cabinet meetings and no decision to this effect will be taken before July 5.
CM Yediyurappa is also expected to give a clarification in this regard to the media. It is said that the chief minister has decided to take a decision on implementing further lockdown only after July 5, as the SSLC examinations are going to end on July 4.
