Mangaluru: MLA U T Khader takes active role in deceased corona patient's funeral

Mangaluru, Jun 24: MLA U T Khader, like commoners, got involved with the digging of a pit for the funeral of an aged man, who died after getting infected with coronavirus. Khader's gesture in this respect has come in for lot of praise.

The old man had come from Bengaluru. He was 70. He lost his battle with coronavirus on Tuesday morning. His funeral was performed at the graveyard at the Jumma Masjid, Bolar in the city. Khader personally took interest to dig the pit with some others on the occasion.

At the same time, many have criticised the former minister for taking part in the funeral without wearing the mandatory PPE kit.
