Kundapur, Jun 23: “The state government has formed a systematic plan to control the spread of COVID-19," said minister of Muzrai and fisheries Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He was speaking to reporters in the Kundapur council auditorium on Tuesday.
“Labs will be opened in every district for tests of throat swabs. Basic facilities will be increased in the quarantine centres. All the ministers will work together in coordination. Health workers and police who were infected in Udupi and Mangaluru have recovered. Such incidents will be prevented in the future,” he said.
“A proposal is submitted to convert Kundapur municipal council as the corporation. The stipulations that badges are necessary for auto rickshaw drivers to receive relief packages are waived. A few technical problems will be solved soon,” he said.
