Kundapur, Jun 23: “Kundapur hospital will be made available for public service again. The condoned loan ‘Sala Manna’ will be available to beneficiaries in another two days,” said district in-charge and minister of ports and fisheries, Kota Srinivas Poojary.

He was speaking in a meeting of officials and municipal council members at Kundapur council auditorium on Tuesday.

He asked to provide drinking water pipe connections to those who have applied for Srajanadhare in another two days. He also asked the contract engineer to complete UGD works soon.

“Over 19,000 fisherwomen’s loan is waived off and the loan of the remaining will be waived in another two days. Fish market at the cost of Rs 2 crore, fisheries jetty in Kodi and the ring road will be included in the fisheries department,” he said.

“Kundapur council members are elected. Funds are released. Members should keep developing the wards looking into the problems,” he said.

Council chief officer Gopalakrishna Shetty was present.
