Byndoor: Women constable, senior PHC staff test positive for coronavirus

Byndoor, Jun 22: A woman police constable attached to Byndoor police station tested positive for coronavirus on Monday June 22. Earlier on June 21, a constable of the same station had tested positive for the dreaded infection.

Byndoor police station is already sealed down. The testing of positive of two police personnel has caused panic.

Both Byndoor police station and office of the circle inspector are closed down. All personnel are under home quarantine for 14 days. The station will be opened after completely sanitizing it. Personnel of Kundapur subdivision are carrying out their division at the old office of the circle inspector.

On other end senior health assistant of Shiroor primary health care (PHC) center has also tested positive for coronavirus. The health center is sealed down. The work of tracing primary and secondary contacts of the infected person is in progress.
