Sullia, Jun 22: Vasanthi (45), wife of Bommaru Vasudeva from Nellur Kemraje village, fell into a well near her house and lost her life. The incident happened at around midnight on Saturday, June 20.

Vasanthi, it is said, was mentally disturbed. She used to live in a house nearby separate from her family. At nights, often she was seen loitering here and there around in the area.

On Saturday night too, she perhaps was walking around the area and when she was passing near the well, she would have slipped and fallen into the well, it is guessed. The family members brought her body out and took her to Sullia hospital in an ambulance. But by then she had lost her life.

Sullia police have registered a case of unnatural death. The deceased is survived by husband, five daughters, and a son.
