During my school days, my neighbor once if he goes to play cards would come back home only after 3 days.
For the first  time when he did not come home there was so much commotion in their house coz no one knew whether he was alive or dead

He never came home with a winning jackpot, most of the time he lost the game and  if he wins he takes his friends for drinks and comes back only once all the money gets over.

Organizers of these kinds of games are  wicked / Evil doers coz they know exactly many families will come on the road due to this game but still they will motivate others.
