Kundapur: Saw mill owners' association donates Rs five lac to chief minister’s relief fund

Kundapur, Jun 19: Association of saw mill owners within the sub-division limits here, donated Rs five lac to the chief minister’s relief fund through the forest department.

Forest conservation officer, Ashish Reddy receiving the donation said that COVID-19 has made lives unstable. “It is commendable that the mill owners' association is donating at this juncture. Everybody should have a helpful attitude. Everybody should develop the habit of responding to the pain of others.

“All creatures live in this environment besides us. They too have as much right over nature as we have. We should understand that."



Saw mill owners' association president, office bearers and members from Kundapur, Brahmavar, Udupi, Karkala and Moodbidri were present.

Manager, Udayakumar T compered the programme. Zonal forest conservator, Prabhaker Kulal rendered the vote of thanks.
