Bengaluru: Senior journalist dies of cardiac arrest, tests positive for coronavirus

Bengaluru, Jun 18: Senior journalist Gowripura Chandru died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday June 18. He was tested positive for coronavirus after his death.

The 54-year-old Gowripura Chandru was a resident of Vidyapeeta in the city. He was working for Vijaya Karnataka.

According to sources, he was suffering from fever from last week on Saturday.

After his death, his swab sample was sent for test. The report turned positive for coronavirus.
