Udupi, Jun 18: “Udupi district was in the green zone. But the number of corona victims rose later as relatives of residents returned here due to various reasons. But the ratio of those who recovered from the illness is equally high,” said assistant commissioner K Raju. He addressed a gathering after inaugurating a procession held as part of awareness on Mask day.



Municipal council chief officer, Gopalakrishna Shetty, members, Devaki Sannayya, Chandrashekar Kharvi, Sridhar Sherugar, Prabhaker V, Santhosh Kumar Shetty, Sandeep Kharvi, Kamala Manjunath, Scouts Guides organization’s Gunarathna, city development authority former president, Vikas Hegde, social welfare department officer, Raghavendra Varnekar, Taluk hospital physician, Dr Nagesh, government employees association vice president, Prakash Chandra Shetty, municipal environment engineer, Raghavendra, officer, Sharath and others were present.
