Karkala: Motorbike rider killed in accident involving auto-rickshaw

Karkala, Jun 17:motorbike rider fell to the road and died due to deep injuries he suffered on his head. The incident happened near Palli government high school in Palli village on Monday evening.
 
The accident happened when an auto-rickshaw collided with the motorbike. The deceased was Sandeep (20), son of Babu, resident of Banglegudde Janata Colony in Mattar in Shirva village. 
 
Sandeep was proceeding in his motorbike at 5.45 pm from Palli towards Kuntadi on his Pulsar motorbike when the auto-rickshaw driver reportedly turned his three-wheeler all of a sudden to the right without giving any signal or indication. This act resulted in the auto-rickshaw hitting the motorbike, it is said.
 
Karkala town police have registered a case. An investigation is on.
