Mangalore, Feb 9: The programme of lighting the lamp and oath taking ceremony of 23rd batch of BSc Nursing and 16th batch of GNM students to create awareness on responsibilities and duties of nurses in future was held at Dr M V Shetty College Auditorium, Panjimogaru, recently.



Sr Loredana Korah, nursing director, St Ann's College of Nursing, Mulky was the chief guest. She enlightened and inspired the newcomers to become the angels in the nursing field to bring changes in the profession.

Dr Hima Urmaila Shetty, trustee of Dr M V Shetty Trust presided. Professor V Kathyayini, principal, Dr M V Shetty Institute of Health Sciences, J M D'Souza, principal, School of Nursing and professor K Shanthakumari were present.

    It seems so good.i will be coming there soon for nursing.so, i am excited as well as veyr happy for that.i will pray for day to day progress and achivement of this college.i passed my twelve class from Namgyal higher secondary school.
