Kundapur, Feb 9: The Rosary Church here celebrated elders’ day

A meeting of a sermon was held in the presence of elder Fr Alban D’Souza. Thereafter the elders were felicitated in the mini-hall of the church.

Children sang the welcome song and also performed the welcome dance. Professor Richard Rebello, central committee vice-president, Captain Joseph Fernandes, regional president Kiran Crasta, vice-president Basil D’Souza of Govlik Parishad and secretary Diana Almeida among others were present.

Antony D’Almeida, the president of the conference welcomed all the chief guests. Prof. Richard Rebello spoke on the treasure of experience and the pleasure of life.

As many as 200 elders were present on the occasion. Victoria D’Souza, president of the conference proposed the vote of thanks. Antony D’Souza treasurer monitored the programme. The function came to an end with a sumptuous dinner.
