Mangaluru: Four-year-old killed after lorry hits scooter

Mangaluru, Jun 15:scooter-borne four-year-old child was killed in an accident involving a truck. The incident happened on Sunday, June 14.
 
The deceased child has been identified as Shayan (4) from Krishnapura near Suratkal. Abdul Basheer from Krishnapura was returning to Krishnapura from the city on Sunday afternoon in his scooter along with wife, Shayeeda, and son, Shayan, when a lorry hit their two-wheeler near Bykampady junction. All the three fell to the road. Shayan, who suffered grave injuries, died on the spot.
 
A case relating to the accident was registered in the city (north) traffic police station.

    The baikampady junction is very dangerous , a lot of accidents met before this.
    As per my advice the highways should en circle or should pass outside the city boundary .
