Mangaluru, Jun 13: MLA U T Khader said, "Every decision taken by the government is creating confusion among public.”
Addressing media here on Saturday June 13, Khader said, "Whenever the government take decision, there has to be some clarity. Pertaining to education, the government’s decision is changing every day which shows the failure of administration. Government should take responsibility of students and parents to create good atmosphere.”
He also said, "The government changes statements every now and then which is gives no clarity to public. Decisions made regarding exams should be firm. Even during the fixing of examination dates, there was lot of confusion. Exams should be first finished and then discussion about online classes should be held. Many students cannot afford smart phones. This has to be kept in mind.
“Has the syllabus been planned for next year? It is better to fix syllabus, print text books and send the books to schools. Even school management have their problems. Many of them are in trouble due to non-payment of building rent.
“Parents may not be able to pay fees in this situation. Hence, the government should come forward in favour of students. I suggest the government to provide interest free loan for a year to the school management which will help them to revive. I also suggest the government to seal down surrounding areas of examination centres during exams,” said Khader.
