Udupi, Jun 12: Basic education is not sufficient for students to obtain jobs in large industries in the current competitive era. It is necessary to find tools every day to increase their creativity in special skills. Shirva St Mary's College and Sri Madhwadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal signed an agreement to shoulder mutual educational and social responsibility of BCA degree students to provide them excellent education, training and help them obtain suitable jobs.
Bantakal College principal, Dr Tirumaleshwara Bhat, chief guest said that both the organizations will cooperate to provide basic facilities for the students for their all-round development making them pro-society individuals. Resource person, Bantakal College Computer Science department head, Dr Vasudeva said that they will conduct students convenient, value based and skill-based classes free of charge.
College principal, Dr Herald Ivan Monis in praise said the agreement is not confined to students alone but teaching staff also. He commended the services of Dr Vasudeva as the alumni of the college. College Computer Science department head, assistant professor, K Pravin Kumar explained the contents of the agreement.
College office superintendent, Jossy D’Souza, professor Vittal Nayak and teaching staff members were present. Assistant professor Prakash welcomed the gathering. Assistant professor, Sushma compered the programme. Divyashree rendered the vote of thanks.
