Udupi, Jun 10: A man, who had lost control over his left side of the body due an accident that occurred two years ago, killed himself as he had no work also since two months.

Lokesh R (31), son of Radha and late Rama, a resident of New Colony, Kodankooor is the person who committed suicide.

Lokesh was involved in a road accident two years ago and had lost control over the left side of his body. In addition, his wife had also deserted him a year ago. Since two months he had no work due to lockdown and was at home.

Lokesh hanged himself with a nylon rope to the wooden roof bar in the bedroom between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm on June 9 as per the complaint filed by his mother Radha at the Udupi city police station.
