Mangalore, Feb 4: It was a great time encompassed with love and laughter when 11 out of 34 ‘girls’ from batch 1955 of Ladyhill School met up at Pinto’s, residence of alumni Dottie Pinto at Mannagudda here, recently.
Like every time the spirited women lived the school days and thoroughly enjoyed the get together. Fun was in the air with young heart and spirit though all the gathered were now on the wrong side of 70.
The idea was conceived in Mumbai by Grace Pinto, the pioneer in reunions. Then on the tradition has continued in joints such as Manjarun, State Bank area, Pinto’s, Mannagudda, Eden’s Aquatic Club, Nantoor and Benny’s in Kankanady, Mangalore and at Santhekatte – Kallianpur, Udupi.
