Mangalore, Feb 4: In a stiffly contested array of competitions, Ramakrishna High School walked away with the overall winners’ trophy of the CIL Fest 2010 which concluded at Chinmaya School, here recently.
CIL Fest 2010, an inter-school event held in association with Chinmaya School proved to be unique since it was organized exclusively `by the students for the students’.
The venue wore a festive look as over 200 students from 15 schools in and around the city participated in a host of competitions, most of which were being held for the first time in Mangalore. Colours, an exhibition of paintings by the children of Abhayashraya orphanage attracted the crowd.
The fest had an array of events like Just a Minute (JAM), what’s The Good Word, Tom Dick or Harry, dumb charades, spelling competition, essay, debate, poster making and folk dance among others.
