Udupi: Shirva branch of Rosary Credit Co-operative Society inaugurated

Udupi, Jun 8: The eighth branch of Rosary Credit Co-operative Society Ltd was inaugurated at Bahrain Tower here in Shirva on Monday, June 8. Johnson D'Almeida, president, Rosary Credit Co-operative Bank, inaugurated the branch.

Fr Denis D'sa, parish priest, Shirva church, blessed the new branch and addressed saying, "Even in these times of economic downfall Rosary Credit Co-operative Society has managed to open its new branch here in Shirva. They have taken a risk in setting up this branch during these hard times. Under the abled leadership of Johnson D'Almeida and his team the bank will surely prosper amidst 20 existing banks in this region. May our Lady of Rosary and Lady of Health shower blessings upon this branch and may the bank prosper."

Rosary Credit Co-operative is a leading co-operative bank having its head office at Kundeshwar in Kundapur. In the year 2017, the bank celebrated its silver jubilee. Other branches of the co-operative society are located at Kundapur, Byndoor, Padukone, Basrur, Pius Nagar, Gangallo and Santhekatte. The bank has seen tremendous growth in the last few years. Loan facility with attractive rate of interest, savings account, fixed deposit facility with high rate of interest, gold loan, housing loan, Rosary cash letter and many other facilities are offered by the bank. Senior most director of bank Pius D'Costa inaugurated the locker facility of the Shirva branch.

Kiran Melwin Lobo, vice president Wilson D’Ssouza, Sabhapathi Shirva branch Pascal D’Souza, chief executive officer and directors of the bank Philip D’Costa, Jacob D’Souza, Vinod Crasto, Baptist Dias, Ozlin Rebello, Shanthi R Carvallho, Diana D'Almeida, Shanthi Dias, Santhosh D’Silva, Derick D’Souza, Prakash Lobo, Wilfred Menezes, Terence Suvares, Thiodar Olivera, and others were present for the inauguration.
