Bengaluru: 72-year-old man suffering from dementia missing, complaint filed

Bengaluru, Jun 5: A 72-year-old man name Maxim Lewis has been missing since March 14, a missing person's report has been filed in this regard at the Madivala police station. Lewis is reportedly suffering from Dementia. On the day he went missing, he reportedly left home at 8.30 am to pick up breakfast from a nearby hotel. According to the family, Lewis has not returned since then.

The family had also released an ad on March 18 in Vijay Karnataka enquiring about Lewis. On March 19, the news brought in a lead from a person identified as Suresh, who works as a cook for a catering company. Suresh claimed having seen Lewis on the day the ad was placed in the paper. He said to have spotted Lewis, while he was in Srirangapatna for work.

On hearing this, Lewis's son had travelled to Mysuru with hopes of finding his father. However, his efforts went in vain, and unfortunately soon after the nationwide lockdown was enforced.

Tragically for the kin, the lockdown has made the job of finding Lewis difficult, as even the police have not been able to do much.

The family has been struggling to find Maxim Lewis and appreciates any information on his whereabouts is received.
