Kundapur: Fisherman falls when undertaking fishing - Breathes his last

Kundapur, Jun 5: A fisherman from Koravadi village in the taluk, identified as Guddimane Krishna (60), died without responding to treatment on Thursday, June 4.

When Krishna was undertaking fishing in his boat in the sea at around 7.30 am on May 30, he fell down when the boat rocked after a huge wave hit the boat. He had turned very sick. He did not show improvement in health even though he was treated and breathed his last on Thursday.

The fisherman was admitted into a private hospital here and then taken to a private hospital at Udupi for advanced treatment. But his life could not be saved.

On the basis of a report filed by the son of the deceased, Udaya Mogaveera, a case of unnatural death was registered in the police station here.
