‘The people who came from Mumbai went home by buses’ ?!?!?
We’ve been seeing how distancing rules are being blatantly disregarded on the city buses that are plying- this is an absolute disaster in the making!!
The unfortunate truth is that mangalore is likely to see a dramatic spike in cases in the next few days.
I fervently hope I am wrong., though.

Seems like u have a lot of knowledge about Corona virus and how to control it. Check the status of UK and Brazil who had same ideas as yours. Idiots like you are more than enough to ruin this country we don't need our neighbouring countries to attack us directly or indirectly.

Mr. Guru has only abused the previous commentator. I sincerely request Mr. Guru to be specific about what exactly happened in UK/Brazil so that we can learn something.

Nearly 60 % of us will get infected whatever we do and there is no harm in it provided we treat our other ailments. We can only postpone the inevitable, unless we dicover a vaccine, which ordinarily will take some time.Until then Be Happy Be Healthy.

why govt not announced at least 15 days early that on 24 march 2020 is going to be lock down till one month
and asked citizen/migrant labour to move respective villages from cities. even govt could hav given them free train ticket to reach their destination.congress has made indian railway so strong that it can carry 100 million people in one day from one place to another.

first lock down was announced on the evening of 24 March 2020 without giving any prior notice to its citizen. all govt PR stunt like banging thali, bells, showering petals, lighting candles three days prior intimation was given.

on 24th march 2020 when first lock down was announced only 400 corona cases were there in india. if technically someone had come with corona (during their travel to village) they woud hav completely cured during lock down after 24th march since lockdown continued for more than one month. this one month simply wasted from 24 march 2020.

With no job and no money for food or to pay rent, amid the nationwide lockdown, we hav no choice but to return our respective native places villages as migrant labours. we work in hotels, we work in BPO's, we work in office.

because of directionless, clueless, incompetent, unaccountable govt we all indians have to suffer now. This is perhaps the worst manmade crisis in the history of independent India. the central egoistic govt with its blind followers/bhakts managed to turn a pandemic into an humanitarian
and economic crisis that will haunt us for a long time.

'Every Country has had Covid-19 but none of them have faced the kind of humanitarian crisis that we are facing today because of this present govt.
No point of a democracy when it’s not there for its people, especially for the ones that are most vulnerable. This is heart breaking.
this central govt is fooling his followers very brilliantly .

with lockdown you can see Mumbai so many cases..
Probably its government not implemented initial lockdown strictly.. now you can see the results.

Now lockdown with 2 week notice period, i cannot imagine, how many villages would have impacted..! God only knows

Well said Mr. Sachin! Even if many may not agree with you I fully support your views.
Govt should've given 1-2 weeks time for people to return to their place of convenience before enforcing strict lockdown. The initial rise in cases would've been more compared to what the actual was but that would've given people the opportunity to return to their homes and be thoroughly prepared for the the lockdown. That also would've given time for the govt to prepare for and increase the covid testing facilities. If a strict lockdown was imposed from April 2nd week onwards for a month we would've been able to control the situation much better. Easier to say now in hindsight but cannot at the same time cannot ignore our failures either.

We expect Govt. to take 100% responsibility and citizens 0% responsibility.
Most of the citizens honestly believe that with the lifting of the lockdown, they can get back to their normal business and Corona is gone !
Looks like we will learn the hard way, if at all.

72 agree with you and only 14 disagree with you. These 14 are the die hard bhakts of the one who declared lockdown with 4 hours notice. These are the same bhakts who banged the cooking vessels on the balcony and danced on the roads!

Some think the virus infect certain type of people and it will never infect them. Some of us think the virus is a hoax and people are paid to talk about it. When they try to warn us. Its going to end in tears, not because of the lockdown being lifted, but because people don’t want to listen. People don’t want to do be told on what to do and people don’t want to follow orders or instructions on how they can save their lives. Ignorance does not make you fireproof when the world is burning...
