Mangaluru Jun 3: Team Mithun Rai, an organisation started by supporters of district Youth Congress president Mithun Rai, to help needy, gave enough evidence of its kind nature and big-heartedness by meeting the family expenses of a person of north Karnataka origin, who resides in Car Street here with a bedridden child.

The team also decided to set up a small fruit and vegetable vending business for the family to enable it to become self-reliant.

The family had arrived from north Karnataka for working in the construction industry and were residing in a small house near Car Street. The husband and wife with their two children have been living in a small house here. Due to COVID-19 lockdown, both of them lost their jobs and were unable to travel to their hometowns as their two small children, were suffering from health issues.

At the same time, the family did not have any money and hence was unable to travel to their home. The family was in dire straits due to financial crisis. Noticing the problems faced by the family, Team Mithun Rai led by Preemas and Alfaz helped the family by providing food to the starved family members.

Team Mithun Rai has shown humanity and given full support to the family by setting up a small fruit and vegetable vending business so that it can earn, support and sustain itself.
