Kundapur, Jun 1: An area of 200 meters around the houses of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 infection is sealed down at Nada Sinthigudde, Aaloor Selikodu and Kotathattu under Gangolli police station limits of the taluk.

These people were in institutional quarantine and were sent home as per the government orders even before their test results arrived.

Three houses at Kotathattu are sealed down on Monday, June 1, in the wake of the positive report of woman personnel of Shankaranarayana police station.

Concerned officers arrived on the spot and have sent the throat swab of the affected police woman personnel once again for test. The report is expected to arrive in the evening. If the result turns positive,

then this will be the second case within a week in Kotathattu limits.
