Bengaluru, Jun 1: The anger of disgruntled BJP leaders, who are waiting in the wings to become ministers for too long, does not seem to have died down. A meeting in which former minister Murugesh Nirani, Umesh Katti and S A Ramadas participated, has kicked up a lot of interest.
After a meeting of some legislators was convened at Umesh Katti's residence, Yediyurappa reportedly got a call from the party high command not to worry about this meeting. It seemed like the dissidence had died down.
But a photo in which Katti and Ramadas met at the residence of Nirani has been made public. This makes it clear that the leaders are not prepared to let go of their ambitions so easily.
Clarifying about the photo that has become viral, Nirani said that Ramadas and Umesh Katti had in fact met at his house two months back. He, however, claimed that the meeting was not to hold political dialogues or to destabilise the state government.
In the meanwhile, there is information that the unhappy MLAs of the BJP might meet at Katti's residence on Tuesday, June 2. The number of dissident legislators has been increasing with each meeting, and as per information, about 27 legislators were present at a recent meeting of dissatisfied BJP legislators.
