Mangalore, Jan 25: The taluk units of the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishat have warned that they will stage a strong protest, if efforts are made for the externment of the taluk convenor of the Bajrang Dal, Vinaykumar Kandaka, by registering cases of inciting communal violence and such other cases against him.
It is reported that the authorities were irked by the hard stance taken by Vinay Kumar Kandaka and the fiery speech he had delivered at the protest meeting organized here some time back by the pro-Hindu outfits, relating to the disappearance of Ramya Shetty and Mohammed. In addition, Kandadka has derided some JDS leaders in strong words at the protest programme. There have been reports that the police department and the district administration have been making efforts to register cases against him and issue externment order against Kandadka.
Leaders of these organizations, Mahesh Kumar Menala and Dayanand Bana, through a press statement, have warned that the two organizations will fight tooth and nail, if any efforts are made to either register cases against Kandadka or to extern him, due to political influence. They have demanded registration of cases against the JDS leader, M B Sadashiva, who has confessed to having sheltered Ramya and Mohammed, when a habeas corpus petition was pending in the state High Court.
