Koppala, May 25: A jungle resort has commenced in Junglee Rangapura village in the taluk here in between COVID-19 fear. Techies had arrived from Bengaluru and Hyderabad to the resort on Friday night.

Women of Rangapura village who opposed the stay of the outsiders began having heated arguments with the resort owners and the techies and forced them out of the resort.

The stay of Bengaluru and Hyderabad based residents amid coronavirus has made the locals anxious. They have urged for quarantining the tourists and sought legal action against the resort owners. Taking cognizance of the situation, the rural police station personnel arrived at the spot and pacified the villagers.
