Bengaluru: Sunday lockdowns to stay for sometime

Bengaluru, May 25: Reliable sources said that the government plans to continue with the Sunday lockdown for a few weeks more, at least till the end of June.

Chief minister B S Yediyurappa has received feedback from officials about the efficacy of lockdown enforced on Sunday, May 25. The general opinion is that the Sunday lockdowns are effective and hence need to be continued with at least for a month.

State home minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed the opinion that the Sunday lockdown was successful.
