Mangaluru: Corona warriors cleaning staff felicitated by apartment residents

Mangaluru, May 22: Mangaluru City Corporation corona warriors cleaning staff members on Friday were felicitated by the residents of Yamuna Paradise Apartment at Abbakkanagar, near Kottara, here. Four staff members were presented shawls and cash gifts.

Association president, Prathviraj, vice-president, Krishna Kumar, secretary, Srinivas Joshi, treasurer, Manohar Shetty, Bhasker, Mangala, Sruthi and Savita Bhat took part. Children and residents in the apartment lauded them with claps.



Association secretary, Srinivas Joshi said the corporation staff members are working selflessly when coronavirus has targeted us with anxiety. “Our apartment premises are clean because of their work. Congratulating the corona warriors is an act of joy for us,” he said.

    They too deserve a respect they too work on the front line as the police, Doc, Nurses and the hospital staff does. Thanks to Association president, Prathviraj, vice-president, Krishna Kumar, secretary, Srinivas Joshi, treasurer, Manohar Shetty, Bhasker, Mangala, Sruthi and Savita Bhat for acknowledging these Corona warriors cleaning staff.
