Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, May 21: Salons in Dakshina Kannada district have started functioning from Wednesday. The barbers now have to follow strict rules like using disposable towels or freshly washed towels for each of the customers, maintaining social distance, wearing of masks and gloves, maintaining the salons clean and hygienic, sanitizing of equipment, not allowing the crowd to be formed in salons.

In a release, Dakshina Kannada Savita Samaj said that it has sent a list of instructions to be complied with to all the salons and asked them to follow them.

A release from Moodbidri zone Savita Samaj stated that the salon owners and staff there have decided to keep the salons closed till June 2. It is expected that there will be further relaxations in lockdown terms by then.
