Beltangady: Torrential rainfall brings down temperature, improves water level

Beltangady, May 21: The entire taluk got copious rainfall on Wednesday, May 20 evening. Almost all the villages in the taluk like Mundaje, Kalmanpa and Guripalla recorded good rainfall. The taluk has been getting rain regularly since the last some days but the intensity was more on Wednesday due to cyclone effect.

The meteorological department officials have predicted the possibility of rainfall for two more days on account of the cyclone and also due to an area of low pressure created over the Arabian Sea.
