Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (MS)

Kundapur, May 14: The district administration has given green signal to start bus transport in the district, which was banned from months due to coronavirus lockdown. Some private and government buses did take to the road on Wednesday, May 13 in the taluk and allowed people for easier commuting.

According to a conductor except six buses of Bharathi company no other private buses operated in the taluk. As the passenger number has reduced considerably the collection in one trip was very meagre according to the bus conductor.

Bus conductors are following all the rules set forth by the district administration. As the passengers board the bus they are given hand sanitizer to clean their hands. Only one passenger is allowed per seat to maintain social distance. If anybody is not wearing face mask, such people are not allowed to board the bus. In some other buses, the conductor themselves are providing free masks to passengers.
