Mangalore: Astronomers Association Organizes Eclipse Viewing on Jan 15

Mangalore, Jan 12: The Amateur Astronomers Association of the city will organize a viewing of the solar eclipse on Friday January 15, on the campus of St Agnes College.

On this day, the sun is going to be eclipsed annularly by the moon. This phenomenon is visible from the city as a partial eclipse (80%) from 11:07 am to 3:06 pm. 

The press release by Prof H Jayantha (2231241) says that interested persons can avail the opportunity of observing this event.
