Mangalore, Jan 11: District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar distributed cheques and records to beneficiaries of various projects under the State Minority Development Corporation and Zilla Panchayat, in a programme organized at Town Hall on Sunday January 10.
Speaking on the occasion, Palemar said that the state government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is reaching all the citizens of the state by providing them financial and other needful help through various projects. “The earlier governments were limited to only announcing the funds but this government provides whatever is declared”, he said.
A total of 1,139 beneficiaries received the cheques and records through Ganga Kalyana project, Arivu project, shop loans, vehicle loan, and other projects. The keys were distributed to vehicle loan beneficiaries.
N B Aboobakkar, chairman of Minority Development Corporation, Santhosh Kumar Bhandary, president, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat , MLAs U T Khader and Yogish Bhat, and BJP leader Shrikar Prabhu were also present.
