Please ensure that the well sheltered, well fed, well financed Bangladeshis and Rohingyas get mixed up with the genuine migrant labourers and increase their stronghold.

Knee jerk reaction from Government. Why care was not taken when lockdown was announced? Now these workers have lost faith in the government as they were looked after as second class citizens. No food, no money and allowed to mend their ways themselves.

Getting local labour is difficult as youths here are leaders of their own right protecting religion and cows. They are being taken care by their masters as foot soldiers to create trouble in the name of religion. They are getting their payment for the easy work till they land in jail.

We need to educate these youths and make them to come out this and give them a proper training for construction works. Then they can prosper and many others will also follow them. Beginning needs to be done. Being a retiree I can offer my services in educating these youths and like minded people can join together to make it a reality

Real estate business has stagnated since a couple of years. Coastal Karnataka region finance engines, are primarily run on NRI... Petro dollars from middle east nations have subsided, resulting in crash in demands for new constructions..... Today this volatile industry, has received another body blow, by Covid19 pandemic..... skilled migrants have started fleeing Karnataka, taking the nearest possible route home.... Future is certainty bleak as recession has set in, disabling livelihood for lakhs of our countrymen...

Let the builders keep a cap of 2500.00rs per square feet. All the unsold units will be sold immediately, with the revenue, they can plan new projects.

If that is the case then our 'Smart City' has to show leadership and make a sea change and go full technical and modernize the operation by bringing in earth moving equipments, cranes, concrete mixers, collaspsable scaffolding and belt transports which needs trained and certified personnel with qualifications in related field instead of age old 1000 people carrying chattis to 50th floor with concrete, pick axes, ropes and spades. Problem we have is we are very slow to adopt to change and move forward.

Most of migrant construction workers have left. No need to call them back to pollute the city and increase crime rates. There are still left over and lot of local better construction workers so hire them first on priority.
