Mangalore, Jan 10 (DHNS): Pilikula Nisargadhama Society will organise a 45-day Karavali-Pilukula expo at Karavali Utsav ground in Mangalore from January 12 to February 28.
Informing this to media here on Saturday, Pilikula Nisargadhama Society Executive Director J R Lobo said the revenue earned through the expo would be used for the development of ‘Samskruthi Grama’ (cultural village) in Pilikula.
The expo-cum-sale will consist of 120 stalls apart from amusement circles and a variety of food. There will be separate stalls for the products made in the artisans’ village of Pilikula. Other stalls will be occupied by various agencies from across the country, he said.
Bangalore-based Simon Exhibitors and the City-based Nisarga Enterprises have taken up the responsibility of arranging the expo, Lobo added. Entry fee will be Rs 10 per head on normal days. It will be Rs 15 on holidays and weekends. However, entry will be free on the inaugural day, i.e., on January 12.
