Mangaluru, May 9: BJP Karnataka state president and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, has charged the Congress leaders of misleading migrant workers with false information and acting out the drama of holding protest on their behalf. He said that through these acts, the Congress leaders are indirectly trying to proliferate coronavirus infection and had brought together thousands of workers from other states at the central railway station here by overlooking lockdown restrictions. He said that if coronavirus situation in the region worsens, the Congress will be directly responsible.
"On account of bold decisions undertaken by central and state governments, the disease is under control now. Even commoners have joined hands with the government in its fight against this disease. But the Congress has smelt an opportunity and is indulging in cheap politics," he charged, addressing a press conference.
