Udupi: Second phase of food distribution held by Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Math

Udupi, May 7: As many as 32 quintals rice was distributed to 32 of Brahmin zones here by Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy math as part of second phase. Mahasabha founder president Haridas Upadhyaya set the programme in motion. Temple seers informed that they are praying for relief from the pandemic and good health for all people. 200 kits of 25 kg rice were distributed to 165 families of Savita Samaja and eligible devotees in the form of prasada.

Udupi Brahmana Mahasabha president Manjunath Upadhyaya, Prajwal developer’s Purushotham Shetty, Badagubettu bank’s Indrali Jayakar Shetty, Syndicate Bank retired GM Devananda Upadhyaya, Karnataka Bank AGM Gopalakrishna Samaga and local entrepreneurs were present.

Temple manager Jayatheertha Acharya conducted the programme.
