Konkan Railway to operate special parcel trains between Thiruvananthapuram - Okhla

Udupi, May 7: Konkan Railway in association with Western Railway is operating special parcel trains between Okhla and Thiruvananthapuram during the lockdown period.

Train no. 00934 is scheduled to begin operations from Thiruvananthapuram on May 7 and reach Okhla on the third day of its journey at 9.40 pm. These special trains will carry goods and provide services in view of the relaxations to conduct economic activities amid the lockdown.



The special train will have commercial stops at Jamnagar. Rajkot, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Madgaon Junction, Mangalore Junction, Kannur, Kallikote, Shornur Junction, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam and Kollam Junction.

Interested parties who are keen to send goods by using the special train services can contact Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Madgaon, Udupi station's parcel department and necessary arrangements will be made, announced a Konkan Railway official.
