Beltangady: Man crossing road dies after bike rams into him

Beltangady, Apr 22: Abbas Beary (71) residing near Kakkinje school at Charmadi died after a motorbike knocked him down near Kakkinje car street.

Abbas had arrived by an auto-rickshaw and was crossing the road to reach his home when a motorbike driven by Muhammed Shariff from Kakkinje Gandhinagar rammed into him.

Beary was immediately admitted into a private hospital at Ujire but the doctors could not save his life. A case in this connection was registered in the traffic police station here.
