Panaji, Dec 10: Goa's opposition has decided to corner the Goa government on alleged police lethargy in handling Russian girl's rape case and various other law and order related issues in the state.
Leader of Opposition Manohar Parrikar said that government will be exposed on Russian rape case investigation during the four-day Goa assembly session to begin on December 15.
"The investigation, which they are doing, is basically going to spoil the name of the state," he said.
On IGP K D Singh's son Siddharth using his father's official car and ramming it against the pole, Parrikar said it indicates deterioration of moral values.
"The deterioration at political level is reflecting into bureaucratic level," he said, adding that the IGP should be sent on forced leave, till the inquiry into the incident is completed.
